Bed Bugs Signs
Sleep paralysis hallucination is one condition that affects many people at some stage in their lives. The problem arises when the attacks become more frequent and persistent in nature. For you to be able to deal with the problem you need to at least understand what causes it. Generally it happens when a person is suddenly jostled out of sleep when they are having a dream.
Sleep paralysis is one of a number of unwanted events that occur during sleep (including sleep walking, nightmares, night terrors and restless legs syndrome) and about half of us will experience at least one episode of sleep paralysis during our lifetime. For many narcolepsy sufferers, however, sleep paralysis can be a common occurrence and, if accompanied by hallucinations (another frequent symptom of narcolepsy), it can be a particularly frightening, or even terrifying, experience.
The objective of this article is to share my own personal knowledge, and the knowledge I have gained through talking to other Sleep Paralysis sufferers. I want to help people overcome their fear, help people turn around these horrific experiences, and unlock the true potential that Sleep Paralysis holds. I want people to understand that experiencing Sleep Paralysis is actually a blessing, not a curse.
During sleep paralysis, you remain half awake and half asleep. You find that you cannot move. Getting panicky only worsens the situation. If you panic, you might hallucinate that there is something evil in the room. You might see grotesque figures or you might imagine that something is trying to kill you. This is pure hallucination, created by a terrified mind. Unfortunately, it could drive many people from having delightful lucid dreaming experiences.
Paralysis of the muscles can take place before going to sleep or as soon as you wake up. The movement of the body parts becomes very difficult except for the processes like breathing and blinking of the eyes. Usually while dreaming, the brain tends to paralyze the body just to protect the body from harming itself while dreaming. People tend to move their body parts as in real while dreaming and they can certainly harm themselves so the brain temporarily paralyzes the body.
It is possible that some people may not have the instant results I experienced. Im a counselor. I know, from clinical experience, that other types of “hallucinations” do not always disappear just because the devil is rebuked in the name of Jesus. They dont disappear because the devil has a spiritual foothold –usually as a result of anger.
Prevention is always better than cure. Have enough sleeping hours of about 8 to 10 hours per day can help in overcoming this condition. Regular exercise can also help you to overcome with the fear of sleeping paralysis. The most commonly reported cause of sleeping paralysis is the stress in our lives. Make yourself calm and relaxed. You should not indulge in such activities which causes sleeping disturbance in you. Try to control your anxiety.
