But of course, that’s unless you want to sleep with them and wake up the next morning with all that skin redness and swelling. However, if you think they are disgusting, just like almost everybody does, then on the first sign of their presence, get moving. But how do you get rid of them the natural way?

Our home is a place where we are most comfortable at. So, everything from our body language, our clothing to even our food is targeted towards being comfortable and relaxing. We all want our home to be our sanctuary where we can go and hide from the troubles of life. But don’t you just hate it when this sanctuary is attacked by an annoying pest that just refuses to go away?

Yes, I am talking about bed bugs. Out of all the pests, these are probably the most annoying ones. No matter how much a person tries to get rid of them, they just keep coming back and many times, with increased power. Out of all places in the world, our bed is one place where nobody likes to get irritated. But these tiny little things don’t leave us even there. As they do most of their business during the night, bed bugs not only ruin our sleep, but also force us to spend our day itching and scratching the marks they leave on us.

But there are some home remedies that you can try to get rid of bed bugs. If a bed bug problem is detected in its early stages, and infestation is limited to only a small part of the house, then it can be eradicated through these methods, easily. But you have to make sure that you take immediate action after finding bed bugs in your house. Even the delay of few days can make the situation grow out of your hands.

The first step is to vacuum like crazy. Vacuum everything from carpet to curtains, pillows to mattresses in the room to suck out every bed bug. You should also vacuum in the tiny nooks and corner of the room to ensure that no bugs are left there. This way, you will also remove their eggs and droppings.

There are many anti-bed bugs sprays available in the market which might also work. But make sure that you buy a natural spray that doesn’t contain harmful chemicals. This becomes even more important if you have small children or pets in the house. The toxic spray can irritate their respiratory system and eyes.

Another good method is steam cleaning. As bed bugs can survive in extremely hot temperatures, use a steam cleaner on everything in the house. You can also try using them on your luggage after traveling as it will eradicate any bed bugs that might have traveled with it.

But if all of these remedies don’t work, call an exterminator immediately, because any minor problem would’ve ended through these steps. The fact that even after trying all these methods, you still have bed bugs, you have a much serious problem.

Hire a pest control service which would use different techniques to eradicate bed bugs from your home. A professional team can do the job more thoroughly and effectively than you could have ever done.

Given that the bed bug infestation in your place is just minor and that you think you can treat it yourself, you still need to know everything that you can about the pests. Check out this video to know more about bed bugs.
